2-3 times bought a very interesting vegetable called Bieta. Bake it, pre-blanched in the oven with a bechamel breadcrumbs and cheese. Tasty, pleasant . Bieta bietola or, if we are talking about the same ~ these are green leaves than the spinach recall. I really like them a dish like soup: bieta, potatoes, garlic, parsley, cuttlefish, everything is stewed in a pot with a large addition of water ~ Mmmm, Yum!

Oh, I also want to know! I'm not strong in the sea fruits ... It is something like a small kalmarchikov? Or not ? And beats (or bieta) in its raw form - this is a bunch of long dark green broad leaves. Petioles white, wide, have a dense base.

I boiled the leaves and stems separately (5 minutes leaves, stems and 20-30), and then the pan with olive oil and garlic, carcass, for 5 minutes before end of cooking can add on mood and chopped hard-boiled egg and chopped walnuts. Very preochen love.
